• hosted at North Shore Golf Club
• Early tees (8am)

Money

• Green fees to be paid by you on the day (usually around $80)
• Entry fee $30
• All money goes to prizes
• You might have to shout a round or two if you play real bad

Format

• You must have an NZ Golf handicap to enter
• Strokeplay (your total score minus your handicap on the day)
• No gimmies, you must pick up once you get to double par on any hole
• You are not eligible to win if your GROSS score is 100 or higher

Prizes

• Net lowest score becomes Waitangi Day Open Grand Champion of New Zealand (includes cash prize)
• Shot of the Day
• Longest Drive
• Closest to Pin
• Worst putt of the day
